Scott and Gina Menez serve as area missionaries in Southwestern Idaho and Southeastern Oregon in the high desert country. In Acts 1:8, we find our Lord commanding His disciples to take the unashamed gospel “to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” That command has been passed down from disciple to disciple throughout the church age. We often think of “the remotest part of the earth” as the jungles of the Philippines (we have been there too), but there are still many remote areas within the United States that have very little gospel witness and very few Christ-exalting, Word-saturated established churches, or Bible studies. Scott and Gina seek to bring the good news of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to these remote areas.
Throughout the last 40 years of Scott and Gina’s ministry, they have been prepared to accurately handle God's Word while exalting a Christ-centered biblical theology in order to evangelize the loss and encourage and teach the saved to “Love Christ, Love His Word, and Love His people.”
Southwestern Idaho and Southeastern Oregon are extremely rural where farming and ranching are the main way of life. There are few incorporated towns in these areas and often just small gatherings of ranches that require an extensive amount of travel to reach them. Scott is the pastor of a few small churches that struggle to maintain enough people to support a pastor. And yet, there is a great need for teaching and discipleship and shepherding in these little high desert places of worship. This means Scott and Gina have a circuit riding ministry, that moves throughout their mission field as they encourage and shepherd people in the remotest part of the earth.
God has not only given Scott and Gina a great desire for these people who live in remote places, but He also allowed them to learn their way of life and understand their daily pressures of raising America's food supply in a growing hostile climate against the farming and cattle industry. This often opens opportunities to share the truth of God's Word with those throughout this vast ministry field.
Throughout the years of ministry, Scott and Gina have travelled internationally too many places training pastors and their wives. This ministry has brought great joy to our hearts, and we give God all the glory for allowing us to pour truth, instruction, and shepherding into the lives of these precious men and women around the world. The financial gifts you give to this ministry will allow us to continue to travel and for Scott to train national pastors and for Gina to encourage their wives. Our international ministry will consist of several one or two week trips a year to ministry partners around the globe. However, the bulk of our ministry will be on our mission field in Southwestern Idaho and Southeastern Oregon. We count it great joy to see the gospel of Jesus Christ being preached, the lost drawn to Christ, the saved growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, as He builds His church from every tribe and tongue and people and nation including rural America.
We continually pray that God will raise up churches and individuals who will partner with us in prayer and in financial aid to reach these remote parts of the earth with the glorious gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pleased consider hitting that support button to partners with us in this much needed ministry.
Also please consider hitting the follow button below on our “Flat Rabbit Ministry” blog, so you can stay in touch with our ministry, and we can stay in touch with you. Each Monday I will send out an e-mail that will encourage you in God's Word and keep you updated on the ministry here in Southwestern Idaho and Southeastern Oregon.
May God bless you and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you, may you continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ as we all learn by the mercies of God to “Love Christ, Love His Word, and Love His people.”
