Pastor Scott, who has been in the ministry for almost 40 years, has a passion to preach the glories of Christ through expository teaching of God’s Word. He has a passion for discipleship and to see men, women, and children grow more and more into the image of Christ. He is known for his constant proclaiming of “Love Christ, Love His Word, and Love His People!”
Pastor Scott teaches annually at various conferences domestically and internationally. His desire is to help pastors grow in their accuracy and handling of God's Word and to shepherd God’s people with Christ-like love. Scott and Gina both enjoy their international ministry as they encourage and train national pastors and their wives around the world.
Born and raised in Walnut Creek, California, Pastor Scott became a Christian at a young age. He later moved to northern California where he began his ministry at the age of 19 and met his wife, Gina there. Scott and Gina served under their mentor, Jerry Boyle, for many years until they were sent out to plant churches on their own. Soon Scott became affectionately known as “The Cowboy Preacher,” as he used ranching and cowboying to offset their income while serving as a church-planter.
For 20 years, he was involved in church planting in the rural parts of northern California, Northwestern Nevada, and Southeastern Oregon. Then for the next almost 20 years, Scott went on to serve as Teaching Pastor at Grace Bible Church of Hollister, California, and then the Teaching Pastor at Riverbend Community Church of Ormond Beach, Florida. His theological training came through several schools in California, including Los Angeles Baptist College (now The Master’s University in Santa Clarita), Shasta Bible College in Redding, and The Cornerstone Seminary in Vallejo, where he received a divinity degree in pastoral ministry at age 43. He served as a member and chairman of the Board of Directors of The Cornerstone Seminary & Bible College and was a teaching professor there for seven years. In Florida he founded Christ Theological Seminary and Bible College and became the President of both schools. Pastor Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Gina of 36 years, his children, grandchildren, playing golf, and encouraging everyone to “Love Christ, Love His Word, and Love His People.”
Pastor Scott and Gina have four sons—Colton (married to Becky and grandson, Brantley and granddaughter, Leeann), Conner, Caleb (married to Issy and grandsons, Oliver and Ewan), and Canon.
Gina was born in California and raised throughout the United States while her father played professional baseball. By the time she was married, she had moved over 60 times. Gina has been married to her husband, Scott for 36 years and they have 4 grown boys, 2 daughters-in-law, and three grandsons and one granddaughter. Gina was a teacher before having children and then homeschooled for 19 years on our ranches in California.
She continues to serve the Lord through ministry to women by teaching and encouraging Biblical womanhood. Gina has also taught a class called “Moms Moments of Grace” and often counsels young moms to love their husbands and children and how that brings unique glory to God. Gina has always been involved in children’s ministries displaying passion for the next generation to love Christ, love His Word, and love each other. She loves spending time with her husband, kids, grandchildren, baking cookies, and playing tennis.
